And what better way to celebrate this milestone than by highlighting their collective ability to influence change?

About Myra Foundation
The Myra Foundation emerged from the deep commitment its founder, Meena Khanna, has towards the right to education. She was inspired to take action upon witnessing the stark educational disparities faced by underprivileged students.
During a government school visit, Meena was appalled by the student-teacher ratio of 500 students to three teachers. Unable to simply stand by, she requested the principal if she could teach but was rebuffed.
Undeterred, Meena put together a makeshift classroom beneath a Neem tree and embarked on her mission to share knowledge with those in need. Starting with just three students, word of Meena’s passion and commitment spread quickly, attracting over 100 eager students to her classroom within a week!
A few years later, fuelled by her profound impact on young lives, Meena took the leap and started the Myra Foundation. Today, it stands as a testament to her unwavering resolve, having shaped the educational journey of over 10,000 students and still going strong.
11th Anniversary Celebration
The BayOne team kicked off their 11th-anniversary celebrations with over fifty enthusiastic kids from the Myra Foundation in attendance. The atmosphere bubbled with excitement as the children dazzled everyone with their enchanting dancing and music.
Meena Khanna said, “On behalf of the Myra Foundation, I am thrilled to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to each and every member of BayOne for making me and my students a part of your spectacular 11th-anniversary celebration. It was an unforgettable experience!”
The event included:
- An art competition: The budding artists created stunning artwork that not only showcased their talent, but also the dedication of their teachers in honing their skills.
- Song & dance performances: The entire room pulsed with energy as the students put on a show to enchanting Haryanvi and Rajasthani folk songs.
- A dance performance by Team BayOne: BayOne’s own talented dancer, Aastha, also took to the floor and captivated the audience with her performance, which they couldn’t help but join.
- A skit on the importance of inclusivity in schools: The students’ graceful performance left the audience spellbound. The emphasis on inclusivity resonated deeply with everyone present, reminding us why it should be valued in every sphere of life and not just in schools. But most importantly, the performance served as a reminder of the power of words – how they can help build a person’s confidence or tear it down.

Apporva Agarwal from BayOne, said, “The atmosphere was filled with joy and excitement as the kids showcased their incredible talent through captivating dances and mesmerizing music. It was heartwarming to see the efforts of the Myra Foundation in bringing smiles to these children’s faces.”
The BayOne team was delighted to add to the Myra Foundation’s tremendous efforts with their small contribution. The children enjoyed the food, drinks and brand new school uniforms. But the highlight was watching their faces light up with joy at the goody bags. It was humbling to see how such a small gesture could bring so much joy. Ujjual Kattoor, from the BayOne team, said, “Myra Foundation is making a difference, one life at a time, and I am honored to support their incredible mission.”

It was truly heartwarming to see the smiles on the children’s faces. The event was an incredible opportunity for BayOne to connect, collaborate, and take a small but significant step in building a better world for all.
